A few things to note
Farm life experience
As a working farm, Ferguson Highlands comes with all the sights, sounds and rhythms of authentic rural life. Occasionally that might mean a bit of machinery noise or livestock on the move - but that's all part of what keeps us going. We'll always do our best to make sure your stay remains as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Far from town, closer to nature
Tucked away in the Ferguson Valley, yet never too far from town. Donnybrook is a 35 minute drive to the west and Collie sits 35 minutes to the north - close enough for a day trip, far enough to feel well and truly away from it all.
Out here, the cows are your closest neighbours and peace and quiet comes as standard.
Access and parking
Your cabin is easy to find and easy to get to. Simply follow the gravel road from the front gate - signage will point you in the right direction - and enjoy the drive in through the property. The road is 2-wheel drive accessible, so no need for anything fancy.
A couple of things to keep in mind - please close all gates behind you when entering and leaving. We've also made sure each chalet has an enclosed parking area to keep your vehicle safely away from the grazing cattle.
Privacy and recreation
Privacy is something we take seriously at Ferguson Highlands. Each cabin sits at least 200 metres apart, with its own private outlook across the 100 acre property - so you can truly switch off and make the space your own.The whole farm is yours to explore and enjoy. We just ask that guests respect each other's space and keep a comfortable distance from the other chalets.

Unplug from the everyday, but stay connected when it counts. Each chalet includes complimentary high speed Starlink satellite Wi-Fi - perfect for streaming, sharing or catching up on anything that can't wait. Fast, reliable and ready when you are, without taking anything away from the peace and quiet you came here for.
Guest safety, pets and wildlife interaction
We want every guest to have a safe and memorable stay. For the safety of both your pets and our livestock, we're unable to allow animals on the property - we appreciate your understanding.
The farm is yours to explore freely - from the bush tracks to the river and everything in between. Just keep in mind that all activities on the property are at the guest's own risk. Take your time, be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy the adventure responsibly.
